Who we are
An online platform, operated by a law firm
AMICA Divorce is an online legal services platform operated by HSLEX Professional Corporation. Every matter is handled by, or under the supervision of, a lawyer licensed to practise in Ontario.
We are an online practice. We act for clients anywhere in Ontario — Ottawa, Windsor, Thunder Bay or around the corner — and you never have to travel to an office to get your matter done.
We built AMICA because most of a straightforward family law matter is administration: collecting facts, chasing documents, explaining where things stand. That part can be done well online. The legal judgement cannot, and we have not tried to automate it.
- We are a law firm. Not a document service, not a form generator.
- We quote before we work. You see the fee in writing first.
- We will tell you no. If your matter is not suited to an online process, we will say so.
